The Story of Laban Ice-creams

Laban Ice-creams is an ice cream brand under the company Shifa Milk Creations and is the brainchild of Mr. Parvez Yakub Shaikh. The company is a part of the MACC Group of Companies.

Mr. Shaikh, for ten years, was the distributor of a major Ice-cream brand which was owned by one of the biggest FMCG Companies in India. After having learnt so much over a decade about the Ice-cream industry and seeing the scope that Ice-cream had in the Goan Market, he decided to set up his own manufacturing plant and introduce a new brand of Ice-cream into the market, a brand, which he aimed would provide the consumers with premium quality Ice-cream at affordable prices. And this is what gave birth to the idea of Laban Ice-creams.

The company started manufacturing from the 14th of February 2007 with its plant located at MACC Gardens, Nessai, Goa.
